Company Background

Energy Science Laboratories, Inc. (ESLI) is located in San Diego and specializes in materials research and development for aerospace, energy, and medical applications.  ESLI works with government agencies such as the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, NASA, National Institute of Health, and the National Science Foundation under Small Business Innovation Research grants and other research programs. The company also conducts industrial research with companies such as Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and TRW. ESLI was founded in 1980, and has annual sales of approximately $2 million. Since its founding, three companies have spun-off from the company: Tether Applications, Innova Labs, and D-Star Labs.
